Tepeji del Rio had no sub-offices during the Eagle stamp period. Stamps with sub-numbers are from Tula, sub 2 being Ixmiquilpan. Tula and Tepeji del Rio lend stamps to each other (or repaid earlier loans), which is why some Tula stamps from invoice 178 1864 are known with Tepeji name and cancel.

At least two copies of the 2R from invoice 143 1864 with sub-number 2 are known. One was in Leo Corbett's collection, and another (shown above) was in the Rudy Groth-Marnat collection.
