Tampico

Tampico, dos reales. First period, name only.

The first period medio real is rare used, but somewhat more available in unused condition. I have seen enough of these to think they are worth only half of the suggested catalog value. All four lowest values may all be found both used and unused, suggesting that at least some remainders were not destroyed.

Since only one 8R was sent you should not be surprised to learn that it hasn't been found to exist.
