Sub-consigned to Sisal.
Merida, cuatro reales.
Fourth period, consignment 202-1865.
Possibly only two known.
Sub-consignments sent in 1865 were still not overprinted with a sub-consignment number, so they are only recognizable via the cancel. Most sub-consignments were small. Corbett lists only 100 ½R stamps from consignment 29-1865 sent to Sisal, and no ½R stamps to any other sub-office, for the whole period. However, Pietsch added an estimated 100 sent to Tekax on invoice 134-1865.
Of consignment 202-1865, the ½R and 1R are not known to exist, while the 2R and even the 4R are known.
