Corbett knew of one stamp with a Tlalpam cancel, a 1R with Mexico
name. Antonio Torres had a 2R with Mexico name in his sale of the Carlos
Fernandez T. collection, as lot #1080 (February 27, 1998). Assuming these are
both genuine, they are the only two known Eagles used from Tlalpam.
It is generally believed that the small "districts" of
Guadalupe Hidalgo,
Lerma,
Rio Frio,
San Angel,
Tacubaya,
Texcoco and
Tlalpam were actually sub-offices of Mexico D.F.
